Italian Sausage, Green Bean and Garbanzo Soup


Serves 4

1 tbsp vegetable oil
1⁄2 lb italian sausage (bulk or removed from casing)
2 can (14 oz.) chicken broth
1 can (15 oz.) garbanzo beans (drained)
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 tbsp parsley flakes
1 tsp italian herb mixture

In a large saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add sausage; cook, stirring and breaking up sausage with a spoon, until sausage is browned. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 5 minutes.

Tip: Use a mild or spicy Italian sausage, according to your preference.
