Bavarian Kraut and Pork Goulash


Serves 8

2 lb boneless pork chops (cubed)
1⁄2 lb spiral pasta
1 can (12 oz.) tomato paste
1 can (28 oz.) crushed tomatoes
4 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp brown sugar
1⁄4 tsp garlic powder
2 medium sweet white onions (chopped)
1 c green pepper (diced)
1⁄2 tsp paprika
salt & pepper (optional)

In pan, cook pork in olive oil until lightly browned. Add onions, green pepper and paprika; simmer until vegetables are tender.

Meanwhile, prepare pasta as directed on package.

Stir in cooked pasta, tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, brown sugar and garlic powder. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.

Add undrained sauerkraut and simmer for 15 more minutes.
