“Seasonally grown” means that every year, typically in April, we plant our peas and then let them grow and mature for just a few months until June when the harvest begins. Peas have a relatively short season compared to other vegetables, like sweet corn. In a typical year all our peas are fresh-harvested, shelled and prepared, sealing in their appealingly tender, succulent texture with a creamy, sweet, smooth and faintly nutty taste by July!
